Larissa Korwin
Ms. Larissa Korkina, a native of Moscow, is a recipient of the Master of Music Degree studied at the State Academy of Music with the celebrated Russian teacher prof. Grigori Scherschevsky and Valery Minenkov. Since young age she continued to be inspired by the piano sound and the ability to express human passions. Ms. Korkina, was accepted at the prestigious school for gifted and talented students and had a privilege to study with prof. Gubaidulina
A multi-faceted pianist, teacher, coach-accompanist, chamber musician, Ms. Korkina been appointed as a member of the music faculty at the State Academy of Music. She received numerous awards as the best accompanist in the regional competitions in Russia.
Since moving to Princeton in 1990, Ms. Korkina has enjoyed a successful career as a teacher, recitalist, chamber musician and performed numerous solo, chamber and accompanying concerts in the tri-state area, including special functions at the Garden State Center, McCarter Theater, Richardson Auditorium
